Hi BB friends
Serious dinner party stuff tomorrow - with the wedding happening in May, MOG, Mother of the Groom, is coming to dinner on Saturday evening. I have the go ahead to do Italian, even tho Bella and Umbi, my sister and brother in law, who have a farm in Tuscany and are the ultimate 'foodies', are coming.
Stand by for the fabulous menu!!!!!
Cheers Clara

Clara says - This looks so pretty - almost heralding spring. Is that a ray of sunshine? Love the combo of strong metal and pearl in the necklace, with the soft draping. Babyboomers would like the sleeve to be slightly longer, this piece being an ideal garment, with the soft layering providing our necessary camouflage.

"I'm in the process of completing my memoirs - so much has happened on our watch. Possibly, oriented more towards women but not necessarily so as we all are in the same retirement boat... I'd love your feedback and ideas so join in the discussion." Claire

Actually there's a heat wave coming. We will be up in the high 40's by Friday. Time to get out the flip flops. I was going for a sunset shot with In the Pink, hoping for a brillant pink sky as a backdrop, but it wasn't to be. The wrap is another version of the continuous scarf and covers the dreaded upper arm nicely. You can also wrap it twice around your neck to camouflage the wattle. Pull it up over your head and only your eyes show. Perhaps it should be titled Perfect in Pink. Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps. I feel a song coming on.
